Panthers Predictions
Will the Panthers make the playoffs this year? That is the big question surrounding the start of the third season of the Cam Newton and Ron Rivera era. Failure to make the playoffs could jeopardize the coaching future for Ron Rivera in Charlotte. Meanwhile, for Newton, it is time for the number one overall pick in the 2011 draft to shine and deliver wins for this franchise in search of a return to the postseason. The schedule looks tough, in fact, the Panthers have the toughest schedule in the National Football league based off their opponents winning percentages from a year ago. I have the Panthers going into the bye week in week 4 at 1 and 2, with losses at home to Seattle and the N.Y. Giants. The Panthers will prove strong in their division I predict and go 4 and 2 in those games.. with two wins over Tampa Bay and wins at home against Atlanta and New Orleans. They will lose back-to-back weeks at the San Francisco 49ers and against the New England Patriots on Monday night football at Bank of America Stadium. In the end, I predict the Panthers to slide into the playoffs as a wild card in the NFC with a 9 and 7 record for the regular season.
